GRAVOL
Everything you need to know
Gravol (dimenhydrinate) is a medication you can take for nausea and vomitting.
Gravol is generally safe for anyone to take, but beware that in can cause drowsiness.
Dosing:
Adults:
Gravol comes in a 50mg tablet.
Adults can take up to 50mg of Gravol every 6 hours, as needed:

i.e. take ONE of the 50mg tablets every 6 hours.
Children:
Children’s doses are based on their weight. Be sure you know your child’s weight.
Children’s Gravol may come in many different strengths and forms. The most common forms are:
“Liquid Gravol” – contains 15mg of Gravol per 5ml.
“Chewable Tablets” – contain 15mg of Gravol per tablet.
The doses recommended on the package is usually less than your child can actually take.
The proper dose for children's gravol is:

1mg per kilogram body weight every 6 hours as needed.

Up to a maximum of 50mg per dose.
